I created an album cover and liner notes for the album Stick season (We’ll All Be Here Forever) by Noah Kahan. The album cover centers on a wooded area with a small house set deep within the trees that reflects many points of his music. My role is to take the themes of isolation and nostalgia and translate them into a single image that can reflect multiple perspectives and was created to connect with the listeners of Kahan's music. This design emphasizes depth and stillness which allows the environment to feel immersive and match the emotional tone of the album. Subtle typography and placement are used to support the imagery and letting the scene carry the weight of the narrative. The liner notes, which holds 1-2 songs per page, have a black and white print in the background. This pattern is made of hand drawn illustrations which were each created to represent the theme of each song on the album. Making these drawings into a pattern allows all themes to be shown on every page, connecting all the songs together, and still be able to see the full songs.
